Brett Dix BSc PhD
Brett is a tumour biologist with a background
in biochemistry and microbiology. He is
appointed as a Lecturer and
teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate
students within the School of Pharmacy.
Brett’s current research is aimed at identifying the mechanisms for the selective targeting of tumours cells by adenoviruses in the hope of identifying novel therapeutic targets. He is also interested in the interaction between adenoviral proteins and the p53 tumour suppressor protein and their role in the promotion of cell death. |
